Amazon Kindle Touch Leather Cover, Saddle Tan

I had been given the new Kindle Touch 3G as a present and didn't want to damage it so purchased this case. It's extremely well built and effective in protecting my Kindle. Have no hesitation in recommending it.

Amazon Kindle Touch Leather Cover, Black

The cover is great, a good solid leather cover in a colour which feels absolutely quality in hand. The leather is pressed with a smooth hard finish to it rather than the textured feel my old Kindle keyboard cover had. I am undecided if this makes it look cheap or not at the moment. I also have the brown leather cover for my old Kindle without keyboard and this continues in the same vain. It has the same tight neat stitching as my other one and a nice microfibre interior. A very good quality product, which is simple, well designed and does its job fantasticly without adding unnecessary bulk to my Kindle. Keeps my kindle nice and safe and free from scratches and other items floating around that may damage it (looking at you bunch of keys!)

However, I feel the same about this as the last one, it is on the dearer side of accesories. As mentioned I bought this, and I have bought the last one for my kindle keyboard and it is a very good premium cover and so I don't feel ripped off but.......I do feel the cover could be cheaper in price and include a more robust way to secure it and so this is why I have given it 4 stars and not 5. Perhaps there should be better discounts when buying with a Kindle, I don't know. To give you an idea the Amazon Basics Ipad2/Samsung Galaxy cover is full leather, twice the size and significantly more substantial but is almost half the price.

Overall a brilliant cover which I would buy again tomorrow. I just wish it was a touch cheaper and had a slightly more texured feel to the cover which is why I gave it 4 stars not 5

Amazon Kindle Zip Sleeve, Graphite (for Kindle and Kindle Touch)

The case seemed to be the first available, and arrived when promised, so that deserves a few stars. It fits well, even though the zip seems a little flimsey, but the price is the main issue. £24.99 for that! Are you kidding me. I guess I'm the mug for paying it, but they have a closed shop on these cases. They are all OTT. I've bought golf bags and rucksacks for the same money, with far more work and materials going into them.
Serioulsy guys....look at the price, and stop ridding us off.

TeckNet@ NEW Kindle Touch Leather Cover With 2 Kindle Touch Screen Protectors & Magnetic flap closure for NEW Amazon Kindle Touch Only - Blue

The fit, quality and smart appearance of this case belies its bargain price. Superbly made with synthetic leather and a perfect secure fit for the Kindle Touch. I love the way the cutout for the screen is just that little bit wider all round so that a thin border of the Kindle's silver/grey case front is visible ... this looks really classy against the purple colour of the case.

It feels lovely in the hand as well, soft and nicely padded.

I have been very impressed with Tecknet's customer service too. They offer to supply free additional rear protection covers. I took them up on this offer and sent them an email and two extra covers arrived in the post the very next day. Brilliant service.

I'd give it ten stars if I could.

Kindle Touch, Wi-Fi, 6" E Ink Touch Screen Display

I wasn't immediately keen on the idea of the Amazon Kindle as I thought I would lose some of the enjoyment of the reading experience - I suppose I thought it would be like reading from a standard computer screen. That was until I had a look at my mum's Kindle and from the moment I started reading I knew I had to have one!

I ordered the Touch, as for £20 more you get a more slimline product, and I am delighted with it.

It is light, attractive and comfortable to hold;

The screen is responsive, but not excessively so;

It is nicer to read than paper. I activated the 'refresh e-ink after every page turn' feature to avoid the ghost writing that people have warned of and have not found it to be a problem whatsoever;

It is simple to shop for books using the Touch screen, and downloads take less than a minute to appear on your Kindle;

It has superb features such as the 'x-ray' which, if the book you're reading is enabled, allows you to 'dig deeper' into the story. Such a good feature! I also love the automatic bookmark, the option to highlight text and save quotes in a 'cuttings' file;

When you touch a word with which you are unfamiliar or do not understand the meaning of, the Oxford definition comes up. This has enhanced my reading experience immeasurably;

The screensavers are very nice and enhance the product and my enjoyment of it - they have an artsy feel, which I love;

The thing I love most is this: when you're lying down and reading it is so comfortable. I used to like the idea of relaxing with a good book, but trying to read the words which had been printed too close to the binding, folding back pages and then losing my place, bulkiness, heaviness... all these things and more used to make reading difficult. The Kindle has actually enabled me to love reading again, and I really can relax with a good book now (or 3000 - which is what it holds) while lying down or even in bright sunlight.

I love it, and could probably go on and on about how good I think it is.

I would love to own a Kindle Touch cover by Amazon but they are too expensive, which is a shame, as that would be the 'icing on the cake'. I will have to buy a generic one from eBay instead!

I would wholeheartedly recommend this product - I will never go back to ordinary books after reading from a Kindle. In fact I sold most of them!

5 big, flashing, bold, bright and beautiful stars from me :-DD

Amazon Kindle Keyboard Lighted Leather Cover, Black

When I first decided to buy the fantastic Kindle3 I thought it was only right to get the cover designed for it.

My first thought on which cover to get was that both the standard and the lighted one were brilliant but about a third too expensive. Looking at the prices I decided that I should economise so I bought the standard cover without the light thinking that I already have a simple clip on light that would do the job fine.

Both the covers (excepting the light) are the same so the following review applies to both models.

The cover arrived (before the Kindle) and it is very very good. It fits the Kindle perfectly and in so doing gives protection. I really like the way that it is styled, the leather is gorgeous, the colours lovely (I bought the burnt orange) and it is so easy to use. It attaches to the Kindle in a matter of seconds, and in use is simplicity. I really like the elastic closure band, no fuss, just does the job. I also really like the way I can fold the cover back, fix it with the band and then either hold the Kindle with one hand or rest it on a cushion or in a book stand for 'hands free' use. The inside of the cover has a lovely 'felty' feel to it, so not only does it completely protect the screen and buttons of the Kindle, but it is also non slip so rests very easily on an angled surface.

Attaching my clip on light was ok, but after only a few days the battery was going down (because I was using the Kindle so much!) so I decided to think again about the lighted cover!

Having initially disregarded the lighted cover due to its cost I began to see the advantages over having a separate light. The light is always there! After kicking myself a bit over having wasted money on buying the standard cover I ordered the burgundy red lighted cover. It is brilliant! It is so clever just having the light there all the time, safely tucked away when not needed, but instantly available in low light. I thought the light would be uneven and therefore annoying but it is a very gentle natural light and becomes unnoticeable once absorbed in the reading - which is very very easy to do.

I don't understand why anyone having bought the best e-reader on the market will want to buy a cover which slips off or is just a stick-on cover. Don't hesitate about buying the best cover designed for the Kindle which does the job so brilliantly. Yes it is expensive but it will last, is a quality product and makes my Kindle look an even more amazing piece of kit than it already is in its own right.
